O site MTV Multiplayer conseguiu arrancar do grupo empresarial Activision-Blizzard a trilha sonora completa de Guitar Hero: Van Halen (RedOctane), jogo musical estrelado e inspirado na banda estadunidense de hard rock e heavy metal Van Halen.

O título traz 28 faixas em que é possível conferir a habilidade técnica musical de Eddie, Alex e Wolfgang Van Halen, além do poderio vocal de David Lee Roth. E quanto a Sammy Hagar? Nadica, nem aparece...

Van Halen segue o caminho das bandas Metallica e Aerosmith, que já haviam ganhado seu próprio GH. O rock'n'roll sonoro traz não somente sucessos da bandas, mas também 19 músicas de outros roqueiros como Weezer, The Foo Fighters e Queen.
